Collection: Surfing sunset

Surfing evokes a unique blend of sensations. It’s a difficult feeling to describe, something you have to experience for yourself: 

The rhythm of the ocean, the pull of the wave and the quiet moments in between sets.

Add a sunset to that experience and most surfers will tell you it doesn’t get much better.

During an evening session in Sri Lanka, I captured this surfer framed perfectly beneath the setting sun. Combine that with a coastline full of palm trees and you find a perfect duo for this series, called ‘surfing sunset’ 

Sometimes, it really is that simple.
