Collection: A Lombok golden hour

Indonesia is known for its beautiful beaches, rich nature and the warmth of its people.
These are things you come to expect and it will never disappoint.

While spending time in Lombok, I set out to capture what golden hour looks and feels like in local spaces. 

For me, traveling is about understanding the places I go to. I don’t want to spend my time in fancy places that are created for foreigners, I’d rather sit in an uncomfortable chair where I can share experiences and smiles with the people who make a destination what it is. 

This print series features two moments that reflect local Lombok. Quiet, everyday scenes that reveal something universally human: enjoying the moments this earth creates for us.

From sitting with your family and enjoying the sunrise, to leaving your boat and ending the day on sunset time.
